Far Eastern Lines is a Singapore registered company with its head office located at Singapore. Our core business is carrying cargo into the Maldives whether it is general cargo, refrigerated goods, dangerous goods or project cargo like heavy machinery. Our chosen team comprises of staff with 40 years of shipping experience and in particular, have been familiar with dealing with the Maldives market for years.
Apart from Singapore, we have recognized agents at most major shipping ports of Asia, including ports at Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, UAE, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China and Vietnam. Each of these agents are well established in their respective ports and cover a wide variety of shipping related services including port handling, FCL, project cargo, LCL services, etc.
 Currently, Far Eastern Lines has one vessel plying between Colombo and Male’ on a weekly basis. This vessel will carry all containerised cargo accumulated at Colombo Port by feeder vessels from Indian sub-continent, South East Asia and the Far East into the Maldives.
